Due
to school holidays there will be no F.ASD coffee morning in August.
The next coffee morning will take place on Wednesday, September 10th,
from 10.30-12.30 (the second Wednesday of the month), hopefully at Lonsdale
District Carers new premises on Euston Road.
These are informal sessions for people to browse through our member’s
library and have a chat with other parent/carers of children with an ASD.
(Please note that these meetings take place during term-time only).
Soft
Play – The next soft
play session takes place on Sunday, 27th July at Salt Ayre Sports
Centre between 2-3pm. Please

F.ASD
is a support and information group who principally support parents with children
and young adults who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. For more information on F.ASD, please contact Sue Brierly via
the Morecambe Carers Centre.

AOK
Club
The
AOK (extrA Ordinary Kids) group is a support group for parents/carers of
children aged from birth to 8 years with additional needs. The group meets at the Lune Park Children’s Centre,
Ryelands Park Lancaster every Tuesday from 1-3pm.
During the summer holidays they are also running “stay and play”
sessions and a picnic in the park each Tuesday between 29th July –
26th August, from 10am-1pm. For

Interconnections UK
Conference
The
“Children and Young People with Disabilities and Special Needs: IDEAS INTO
ACTION” Interconnections UK Conference takes place on Wednesday, 10th
September at the Regents College Conference Centre, Regents Park London, NW1
4NS. A range of guest speakers and
discussion groups will be available on the day. A single ticket costs £135, plus VAT, although if you book
