Conferences and consultation events.

We host specialist themed events to bring carers and professionals together to help make carers lives better, e.g.  financial planning, domiciliary care provision and carers health.

Training

We provide training for other statutory and voluntary organisations to help raise awareness of the issues faced by carers.

Carers Game

We have devised "Carers Lives are Different", a game which helps people see how carers can be disadvantaged (this can be borrowed free of charge and is suitable for use with voluntary organisations).

Talks

We will come along and talk to local groups about our services, these are lively, interactive and FREE.

Campaigning

We work alongside other organisations and are members of Carers UK who work hard to promote services that carers want and need.  Each June there is a national week for Carers and all across the country carers organizations provide a series of events. many of which are fun based but which also have a clear message about the issues that carers face.  In December each year there is a national Carers Rights Day and this helps carers focus on a range of services to help improve their lives.
