RURAL CARERS

 Rural Lunch

There will be an informal get together and lunch for carers who live in the rural parts of the district on Monday, 28^th July, at The George Washington, Warton, commencing at 12.15.  Lonsdale District Carers will be contributing £3 per person towards the cost of this meal.  We hope that some of our members who live in rural parts of the district will be able to attend, meet with fellow carers and enjoy pleasant food and company in pleasant surroundings.  If you would like to attend this lunch, please contact Cath or Stephen at the Morecambe Carers Centre no later than 23^rd July so that we can advise the venue of numbers.

 Rural Coffee Morning

Signposts have recently launched a Farming and Rural Health project, which includes a monthly rural coffee morning.  General information will be available, as well as regular themes at each meeting, and carers who live in rural areas are invited to attend.  The next coffee morning will take place at The Hornby Institute on Wednesday, 10^th September from 10-12am.  If you are a rural carer and would like to attend, please contact Jo McClintock at Signposts on (01524) 419021 or email jo.mcclintock@signposts.org.uk for more information.
